A typical jennW fashion makeover would include me coming to your home and discussing your current wardrobe. Editing what works and what no longer does is a step to making you appear as fabulous as you are inside. We'll then explore the look you want to foster, and how best to achieve it.
I'll acquire the clothes so you can try them on in the comfort of your home, and together we'll evaluate what works and what doesn't. If you feel like coming along for a little girl-time shopping, please do. I dress celebrities every day. Let me help you look like one, too.
A Little Secret
Everyone has a different body. Not all size sixes are the same size six. A major secret of the media is to tailor items to models and celebrities. I do this every day, and can apply the same methods for you.
Confidence
When you look great, you are great because you feel beautiful and confident. It's not rocket science, and psychological studies bear this out. Updating your wardrobe is necessary. The first impression we make every time is how we look. This is where I can help you.
Jungle Survival
If entering a store makes you panicky because of an overwhelming amount of choices, I can help. With me at your side, you'll learn what works for your shape and skin tone. I'll show you what flatters you and what you should avoid. If you hate going shopping, I'll give you the confidence to center in on garments which make you look fabulous: things you'll want to wear because you look and feel great in them. After I'm done helping you, you'll have the chops to help yourself.
Special Appearances
If your daughter is getting married or you're attending an awards ceremony, I'm available to style you for special events. Typically, we'll discuss your budget and the style or look you wish to achieve.
More is More
Will you and some gal pals be hitting the town together? I can meet you all and we can plan your outfits accordingly. Everyone can chip in to afford a girls' fashion afternoon. When we're done, no one's clothes clash, and no one under- or overdresses. Everyone looks fabulous, everyone has a great time.
Gift Shopping
I know New York and Los Angeles very well. Everyone has a hectic schedule, and let's face it: we get in ruts. Don't want to give the same kind of gift you did last year? I can be finding something original while you're working. If you'd like to give a gift that will be long-remembered, I can help. Give me sizes and I can make you the most appreciated gift-giver of the party or season.
Empty Pockets
Don't worry. Everyone has a budget, and I'm happy to work within yours. We'll discuss what you're willing to spend without making you feel the least bit guilty. After dressing celebrities for years, I can assure you the most expensive garment is only sometimes the best garment.
Break Even
If we're helping clear out all those fashion no-no's in your closet, why not get the last bit of use out of them? My cost can be defrayed by donating your oldies to a variety of sources I can help identify for you. Depending on your location, I might be able to personally remove your old garments and mail you a tax deductible receipt. If I can't, I can email you a list of locations where you can do the same, or a list of charities offering pick-up service.
Alterations to Go
I have an excellent relationship with Stitched Tailors, a company in both New York and Los Angeles who alter garments for fashion shoots, campaigns, and celebrities. Getting something to fit you perfectly will never be a problem, as I can bring a tailor to your home to do alterations while you sip wine in your favorite chair.
